Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
1. Who We Are
Qualified Crypto Appraisers provides appraisal services. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form, we collect what you type into it. That is normally your name, your email address, your phone number, and the details of the item or property you want appraised.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit, we collect your IP address, your general location derived from it, your browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or search that sent you, and a recording of your visit as described in Section 6.
Information from our visitor identification partner. We work with a partner that may recognize a visit to this website and tell us who the visitor is, using information it already holds, such as a name, email address, phone number, employer, and job title, along with the pages viewed. Section 6 explains how this works and how to opt out.
Information we do not ask for. We do not ask for your Social Security number, your bank or card details, or any government identification through this website. Please do not send those to us through a form on this site.
3. How We Use It
We use what you give us to respond to your request, to prepare a quote, and to carry out the appraisal if you hire us.
We use what we collect automatically to keep the site working, to understand which pages are useful, and to find and fix problems. A recording of a visitor who could not complete a form tells us something no page-view count can.
We use what our visitor identification partner tells us to follow up with people and businesses who have visited this website about appraisal services they may need.
4. How We Contact You
If you send us a request, we reply to it. We may reach you by email, phone, or text message about that request. If you would rather we used a different method, or none at all, tell us and we will stop.
We may also contact people and businesses whose visit to this website suggests they may need an appraisal. Every email introducing our services says who it is from and includes a way to stop further messages. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we remove your address from further messages within one business day.
5. How We Share It
We share your information with the people who need it to answer your request and carry out your appraisal, and with the companies that run this website for us. Those are our website hosting, email, and analytics providers, and they may only use it to provide that service to us.
Where the tools in Section 6 are allowed to load, information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your IP address, is sent to our visitor identification partner so it can tell us who visited. It may also use that information to keep its own records accurate.
We do not sell your information for money. We also share it when the law requires it.
6. Cookies, Analytics, Session Recording, and Visitor Identification
We use PostHog for session recording and to collect browser errors. We do not run advertising pixels on this site, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
Visitor identification. We use Delivr.ai, a visitor identification service that may recognize a visitor and tell us who they are, for example a name, email address, phone number, employer, and job title, along with the pages viewed. We use this to follow up about services a visitor may need.
Asking your permission. If you visit from California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, or Washington, or from outside the United States, we ask for your permission before loading session recording and the visitor identification service, and we load them only if you accept. We work out where you are from your IP address. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies, or by contacting us.
Session recording. We record how visitors interact with this website so we can find and fix problems, such as a form that fails to submit. These recordings capture the pages you view, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and technical diagnostic information from your browser. They do not capture what you type. Everything you enter into a form, including your name, email address, and phone number, is masked before the recording leaves your browser, so we never see it in a recording. We do not record your screen outside this website, and we do not use these recordings to identify you personally. Recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days. Where we ask for permission, recording starts only after you accept. If you would prefer not to be recorded, most ad and tracker blocking browser extensions will prevent it, and you can ask us to delete recordings associated with you as described in Section 7.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load session recording or the visitor identification service.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including any recordings of your visits. You can email us at [email protected].
Your browser can block cookies and tracking scripts, and most ad and tracker blocking extensions will stop the analytics described in Section 6. The site works without them.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion or correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of visitor identification, choose Decline in the permission banner where it appears, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or contact us.
8. Retention
Session recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days.
We keep the details of your request for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our record keeping obligations for work we have done. When we no longer need them, we delete them.
9. Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the information you send through it is encrypted in transit. We limit access to your information to the people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, so we ask you not to send sensitive identification or financial details through this site.
10. Children's Privacy
This site is meant for adults seeking appraisal services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other Sites and Changes
This site links to other websites we do not control. This policy does not cover them, and we suggest reading theirs.
We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
